Out here in southeast Colorado, we have an exceptionally generous supply of wind. These four wind generators were completed in 2004. There's a really big array south of Lamar, and a new group being built in neighboring Bent County. But these are close enough to see from town, so we went out to have a look one afternoon. Later on that summer, they brought a spare vane into town, and it has been installed on the lawn of the Visitors Center, to encourage tourists to stop and ask curious questions.
