FotoFriday!
I took advantage of the pieces of quiet here last night, when the clone and Mike were off at the middle school dance, to finish up a half-done photo essay page so I could entertain you all with it today!
This is a three page photo essay of our visit to Lakeside Amusement Park in Denver last summer. Lakeside has been doing business in the same location for over 100 years, and sometimes you can tell. The landscaping was looking good when we went, and it was VERY affordable, only $11.75 for a ride wristband on a Friday afternoon! Strangely, though, there are old abandoned, broken down rides still right there in the park. Not that *I* minded, because those can be the most interesting to photograph.
The coolest stuff is on the last page, which shows what I found when I explored their onsite DUMP, and also the ruins of the old Lakeside Speedway track!
