Funny that within the space of a couple weeks I've had two friends bring to my attention two different groups dedicated to promoting simple good deeds.

First was Rusty76 who mentioned JoinMe, a world wide group where the members vow to do a good deed every Friday:

I will probably find this second group easier to work through, just because I am somewhat more email than web-base oriented--and they have a newsletter! But both are good, and it's not like we are currently at risk of having niceness take over the planet or something....
