Happy Power Dean Day!
Here I am, all bright-eyed (red is bright, eh?) and bushy tailed (*insert bad and/or vulgar Bush joke of your choice*) and ready for a big day!
There is a nation-wide event today, where at 2 pm local time, hordes of Dean supporters are going to head to visible locations to wave signs with variations on the theme "I Am Howard Dean's Special Interest".
(Did you know John Kerry has sucked up more special interest money in the past 15 years than ANY other Senator? Tsk!)
Our Boy Mike, not being a teen-ager yet, DOES pay attention to the conversations of the adults in the household, and is fairly interested in the upcoming US Presidential election. His basic understanding at this point in time is that I "do not like that bad president" and Dean would do a good job.
Mike has a passion for signs. He makes them and posts them around the house for fun. So he was delighted when I offered him a chance to have his own signs today. When we came home from the store Thursday with our poster board, he ran in to tell Caro, "We are going to make a sign for Power Dean!"
