Tradition

I have just spent nearly an hour assembling a robot spider. See me frolic with delight. Yes, I put the ASS in assemble.

This was Mike's present to himself, by the way, from the school book fair. Because he also bought one for Zach, and didn't want to be jealous of his nephew.

Proud

Here is a funny Mike story, which I am telling now because it's funny...now. Yesterday I was called upon by my own dear clone to try to find a couple of books which she turns out to need, which are...somewhere.

Trying to find two specific books around here is only slightly less of a challenge than being asked to find two specific cat hairs shed by two specific cats on two specific days. I'm just sayin'.

So I was sitting on the floor, rooting around in my newly neatened special storage corner, only grumbling a LITTLE...and a box full of delicate collectible Christmas stuff already listed on eBay and/or sold fell down on me!! And I said the bad words. Lots of them.

Caro came running over to rescue me, and we got everything picked up and checked over and reboxed in short order. So when peace had been restored, Mike (who had been sitting nearby watching a video) piped up and said, "Aren't you proud of me I didn't laugh?"

Yes, sweetie, yes.

Winter Six Flags

Mike likes this snowy picture, even though the rides are not moving. Elitches Six Flags is closed for the winter. It will open back up in the spring and summer, too. Both.
